Our focus is to utilize only stored water supplies on your property so hydrant water can be saved for the professional fire fight.  But there may be times when connecting to a public fire hydrant near your home is the only option, particularly if you need to use hydrant water to apply fire retardants when directed by your fire department.

This fire hydrant "wye" (pronounced "why") connects to a 2-1/2 inch fire hydrant supply valve, which is common on most hydrants.  You can then connect one or two 1-1/2 inch fire hoses and control each with the supplied ball valves.  One for you--one for your neighbor!  

This all-metal connector is heavy duty and ready for action! A great emergency backup device to add to your arsenal.
