Garden Hose, 5-ply 3/4 inch diameter x 25 feet, brass fittings

Garden hoses should be flexible and non-kinkable (is that a word?). We like this PVC reinforced hose and order them by the truck load to save you money.  Use these 25-foot long hoses to connect between each fire sprinkler tripod.  Order our Wye adapters to connect a sprinkler to one hose supplying the sprinkler and one hose leaving to supply another sprinkler.

If the distance is over 50-feet, consider using a fire hose and branch off the end to power up to 15 fire sprinklers at a time! To connect between fire sprinklers, we recommend spacing them 25-feet apart to provide nearly double coverage.  Our 25-foot hoses do the trick.

A typical fire sprinkler strategy includes placing our Tripod sprinklers 25-feet apart, located at the fire perimeter about 10-20-feet from the structure.  Connect up to 2 sprinklers using a wye fitting from your pump or fire hose to maximize pressure and water volume.  If you need to connect several hoses at your fire pump location, check out our Fire Hose 4-hose connector which offers full volume and no pressure loss at the pump.  Don't think you can connect several sprinklers to one long garden hose--it just will not work.

Each fire sprinkler will drench up to a 45-feet radius (90-feet circle).

Think of each fire sprinkler using 6 gallons per minute, each hose delivers 12 gallons per minute.
